Rob & Clare had a stunning Yandina Station wedding on the Sunshine Coast (around a 2 hour drive from the Gold Coast), overlooking Mt Coolum.
Yandina Station, known for it’s hinterland views, was the perfect backdrop for a slightly overcast and drizzly wedding day. Thankfully, the rain wasn’t enough to seriously impact Rob & Clare’s day or their guests, and we had the most stunning overcast light all afternoon.
Rob & Clare got ready in seperate on-site cabins, just a short walk / drive to the main ceremony & reception building. The cabin’s were intimate, homely, and provided beautiful natural lighting.
Due to the chance of slightly heavier rain, their ceremony was moved to the undercover rustic tin shed right next to the wooden deck and while this wasn’t their first choice, the open shed kept everyone dry and had the most amazing light coming from all directions.
The venue is spacious, with so many beautiful photography spots all within short walking distance so they could stay relatively close to their guests.
I had a wonderful time capturing this wedding, and I can’t wait to get back out to Yandina Station again soon.
